That means proper seismic strapping to anchor the unit securely, a new expansion tank added to the system, and a clean, safe gas connection with a new flexible yellow line. The old unit was sitting on a worn wooden platform - the new one sits on a solid galvanized steel stand. Every detail matters when you're talking about something this important to your home.
